Rain, rain...

The childen played under the stairs all yesterday because of the rain. Our yard is a mushy mess and the lake is creeping ever closer to our house! There was a poor beaver swimming up and down and all around the lake flapping his tail. His dam was under water and I am wondering if he didn't lose his mate in the flood. He was a very aggitated beaver! He was so big, we nicknamed him the Loch Ness Beaver of Widgen Lake!

Today will be very, very busy. I went to bed about 9:30p last night because I was so tired and was up at 4:45a this morning! Much to do and miles to go before I sleep....

When Wolf Gets Here...

When Wolf gets here we are going to celebrate his birthday! There is a HUGE cheesecake in the freezer for him and we will grill Hebrew National hotdogs tonight. My gift to him is a babysitting job for all the little jolly ones : D. He and Sarasophia will be going to see a movie and it will be the first time Sarasophia has been free from the house since I saw her last. She can be free of little ones!

I know they will appreciate the lovely guest room that Buvy has created, too. The view from the upstairs window will greet them in the morning. But no snow.

Another wedding....

Last night we signed on to do another wedding videography job. I LOVE film...it is so versatile and artsy. Right now I'm working on a video for our March Ministry Madness campaign at CCC. I have many irons in the fire but it makes for an interesting life : D. I will have a house full of love and laughter this weekend,too, because my daughter, SIL and grandkids are coming here tonight and will spend the weekend! They go by strange names on her blog...there's Pixie, Bean, Wolf, Sam and Mac. She is Sarasophia! I guess I should go by a funny blog-name...Mud or something. Hmmm. I'll think about it and get back here with it. BTW, here is "Pixie"...

Off to finish setting up my terabyte drive.

GOOD MORNING WORLD!

I need to get moving...I am only working a half day today and a half day tomorrow so I am taking it slow this morning. I've already had a nice talk with Pebby, straightened up my camera and computer bags, read new Facebook entries but now it is time to take off the jammies and start packing things together.

Losing it all and then getting it back again...

I lost my Parallel drive on my Mac. It was driving me nuts not being able to be in the PC world AND the Mac world at the same time.

So I reformatted.

You all know what that is like...those of you who HAVE reformatted before and not just gone for years with all those viruses and glitches hiding on your hard-drive. For those of you who are not avid "reformatters" I will tell you that you spend hours and hours and hours putting all your programs back on. You've also lost all your music so you either have to upload them from your external backup drive (you DO backup your stuff, don't you?) and all the settings and cookies that make surfing and life so much easier.

I am tired of waiting for Moshdule to txt me how to get to her Blog so I am going to bed now. Jane Eyre awaits me via my Blackjack.

Let the Blogs Begin!

Ok. I have decided to start a blog. My daughter has a blog so why shouldn't I? This is a fun way to post things that you want everyone to see without having to bug them silly about it. They either come and look at what you post or they don't...

We live in a house that has seven outside doors. A couple of them are double doors so we really have NINE doors. I don't think that counts.

I am waiting to hear from Mosh to see if I can get to HER blog to see my lumpy little ones. They are the cutest grandkids that ever hit planet earth. Smartest too, hee hee.

So much for my first blog. Now I have to go get a photo or this will really be a dull place.
